
Mark Lonkevych
Senior Vice President, Energy Solutions
Mark Lonkevych has more than 30 years of innovative power and energy services experience and serves as NORESCO’s Senior Vice President for Energy Solutions. He leads a unified team of account executives, project developers, energy engineers, project structuring and finance professionals, and other subject matter experts focused on customers in the non-federal marketplace.
Mr. Lonkevych’ s experience includes developing an extensive portfolio of on-site, behind-the-meter, and utility-connected projects. With expertise in power and energy infrastructure, renewable energy, third-party financing, and asset ownership structures, he and his team help customers conceptualize and develop new power, energy, and water solutions.
Prior to joining NORESCO, Mr. Lonkevych spent five years as Vice President, Business Unit Manager and Market Sector Leader for the Energy Solutions Business at AECOM that included both the energy savings performance contracting and energy as a service business practices. Before that, he served as Vice President and Business Unit Manager for Toshiba’s U.S. Energy Solutions business where he extensively focused on development, engineering, construction, operations, and deal structuring for solar, microgrid, and battery energy storage projects for public and private customers including utility companies. These projects emphasized renewable generation, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and other creative financing vehicles.
Mr. Lonkevych also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cogenex Corporation, where he and a core team developed Constellation’s renewable solar business for delivering electricity from on-site solar assets under a net metering PPA. While at Constellation he led a team of professionals during the acquisition and integration of two regional energy services companies.
Mr. Lonkevych earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from LaSalle University.
