Douglas Sattler

Senior Vice President, Federal

Douglas Sattler has nearly 30 years of energy efficiency and renewable energy project experience and serves as Senior Vice President for NORESCO’s Federal business segment.  His experience with development, design and construction leadership for numerous large-scale federal projects is coupled with engineering, project development, construction management, sales and deal structuring experience in additional markets. Adding his expertise in renewable energy technologies, Mr. Sattler is well-equipped to lead sales and project development, especially with the increasing focus on energy resiliency for federal customers. 

Prior to joining NORESCO, Mr. Sattler spent five years at AECOM Energy Solutions as Vice President, Business Development, where he developed a wide range of energy efficiency retrofits, distributed generation, and renewable energy projects. While extending his proven track record of leading teams to close large, complex sales, he has also been responsible for financial analysis, deal structuring, and assessing and managing project risk allocation and guarantees. 

Mr. Sattler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management and has held professional engineering licenses in both Pennsylvania and Delaware.
