NORESCO is in the final stages of constructing a comprehensive energy conservation project at the Cypress and Fullerton College campuses. The project has included comprehensive lighting, boiler, heat pump and energy management system improvements. The wide ranging services provided by NORESCO for this project have included equipment auditing, energy analysis, rebate processing, construction management, design engineering and specification, and project implementation, inspection and commissioning.
The Community College District was so satisfied with the first project that NORESCO is now working on a second project: installing a 900 kW generation plant at Cypress College that will provide power to the electrical grid and hot and chilled water to a new campus circulation loop.
