Annual Energy Savings: Phase 1 - $256,706 Anticipated Annual Energy Savings:Phase 2 - $247,323

The school district needed an innovative approach to reduce energy consumption and improve the learning environment. Improvements had to be made without using funds from taxpayers, and without disrupting school activities.

Solution: Under a Phase 1, ESPC, NORESCO invested more than $6 million in ECMs that resulted in utility cost savings and mechanical and electrical infrastructure improvements. Air quality, high-efficiency lighting, a sophisticated EMS, window replacements, and boiler and chiller conversions were a few of the upgrades. Under Phase 2, a $4.2 million contract award, NORESCO will deliver similar ECMs district-wide; and manage implementation of an FDDI (fiber optic) network.
