The school district needed to reduce its energy costs. The District's three elementary schools, the middle school, high school, and transportation facility all needed energy conservation measures and building improvements.

Solution: NORESCO developed, implemented, project managed, and financed a comprehensive $3.2 million ESPC that saves the School District more than $200,000 annually. With this energy savings program, the district became eligible for an additional $217,000 in utility incentives which were used to offset maintenance costs for new equipment. Energy conservation measures included: installing energy-efficient lighting and controls, premium-efficiency motors, VFDs, new kitchen equipment, energy-efficient windows, and pool covers; reconditioning air handling units; and replacing air-cooled condensers and unit ventilators.
