This policy covers how NORESCO, LLC ("NORESCO") collects and treats information received via its website ("Information"). Such Information may include your name, address, email address, phone number or other personal information. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that NORESCO does not own or control or to people that NORESCO does not employ or manage. In addition, certain NORESCO affiliated companies, such as Carrier Corporation and United Technologies Corporation, have their own privacy statements which can be viewed by visiting their respective websites.

Information Collection and Use
NORESCO will not sell, share, or rent Information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. NORESCO may collect Information from our users at several different points on our website.

Input Forms
Some portions of the website may request that a user complete an input form. The user is required to provide Information so that NORESCO can answer his/her question or request.

Sharing
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person or company. Some partners provide us with specific web related services. When the user uses these services on our website, we will only share the specific information that is necessary for our partner to provide the service. One of our partners, Taleo, powers a third-party employment website which is linked to our "Employment Opportunities" button. Taleo collects information on the following categories of information you may choose to share on the site: name, address, phone and fax numbers, email address, citizenship, education level, race, gender, institution, title or job position, and disability. Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's machine containing information about the user. The Google Analytics service is installed on every page of this website. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. It collects non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to: browser version, operating system, screen resolution, and number of visitors per page. This service sets a first-party cookie used to store information. The information stored in this cookie can only be shared with Google, Inc. and the user. In addition, Taleo's service on our "Employment Opportunities" page also set a cookie used to store information, which information can only be shared with Taleo and the user.

To prevent the service from collecting information, the user can disable JavaScript and block cookies using your browser's settings. If a user rejects a cookie or blocks cookies, the user may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user may be limited in some areas of our site; for example, the user will not receive personalized service. If the user chooses to disable JavaScript, the user will be limited in some areas of our website.

Log Files
We may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track a user's movement, user agent and/or timestamps, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Log files are not linked in the web traffic analysis.

We have stringent protection policies for protecting user information both on and off-line. All of our users' information is restricted. Only employees or corporate affiliates who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
